Hi Ladies!

I just got a wonderful call from Kim that she is leaving the hospital today and GOING HOME!!! I am so happy to hear she is in such great spirits. SHE IS SUCH A WARRIOR!!! She had one, 2 cm lesion removed on Wed. and she will be having her other 2 cm lesion removed by the Gamma Knife on Tuesday. Her MDs are pretty confident the tumors are strays from her original breast cancer site. We are so grateful that her body gave her symptoms to get her into the hospital when she did. WHAT A BLESSING!!!

I am sure she will be on the boards soon and give you all an update on her newest "adventure". She is such an inspiration to me and love her so very much.

Hugs to you all!

(Although after all of this BC crap, I might have to take that back) I love hanging out with our family who all pretty much live within a 2 mile radius of us!! Reading, lunching/daily phone convos w/ my BFF of the past 25 years (Love Ya, girl), lazing by my MIL's pool in the summer, planting and watching flowers grow (until about August, then I usualy am OVER it) That's about it, pretty simple, just the way I like it!!!

Thats wonderful news, Melinda. Give Kim a big hug from me too. Hopefully they are removing them and not putting her through more treatments. Maybe the Chemo she had kept them from getting any larger. It should do something for all you gals go through that have it done.
